The enigma of a day arises before me as i see these tall white buildings and their shadows upon my veins In the waiting room of death Each second on the clock sounds like a boulder falling down the cliff Faces and places i used to know Now ghosts of a past so holy and I expect the day light floods my room and i can throw the house out the window You don't know me and you'll never get to know me! What i've been through Colossal youth A hundred years ago An elevator full of statues going down my leg to my achilles heel This moss growing beneath my eyelids makes me see a forest each time i dream I roam like a ghost from coast to coast and i forgot my ID in some beach somewhere so i expect the day light floods my room and i can throw the house out the window You don't know me and you'll never get to know me! What i've been through Colossal youth A hundred years ago The big clock stands tall where no other building is at I found a red couch half buried in the sand and sitting on it, i watch the days go by I try to remain calm as i stand in the eye of the hurricane Fear eats the soul and somedays i just feel like running Take me down to the bottom of the river i give myself up to the tide of fate even if only for today Everyday it's the calm before the storm this shack is bound to fall Colossal Youth a hundred years in the future

Straight out the womb and into the fire We came out of graves with flowers for algernon A train full of guitars crashed straight into your eyeball Dropped into the world with no rhyme or reason Someday, the angels will blow a trumpet and this time it's gonna be me The plane already crashed but i'm still flying I propel towards the future like a soviet missile Yeah, a point blank bullet to the heart of the 3rd of May I seen the end of the world and i don't care anymore I'm the makeshift tourist i'll be here only for a while I'm not sure if there's an end to it all but nothing remains the same forever I'm a ghost in the daylight you can see me but i'll be gone soon so don't make a vow don't make it because i will break it Nothing remains the same forever Nothing remains the same forever Monuments made out of playing cards blown away by the wind Pluck the golden string of an indifferent universe with the power of consciousness You think it all matters so much and you might be right Fuck anybody that says otherwise I say, if the universe is gray i'm gonna paint that shit gold imma put lipstick on it and a wig too We're the ones that hold the sword and the magnifying glass Why the fuck are you waiting for somebody else to measure the value of your existence? A tombstone's worth nothing by itself but it has a corpse beneath with a whole story behind I'm not sure if there's an end to it all but nothing remains the same forever I'm a ghost in the daylight You can see me but i'll be gone soon So don't make a vow don't make it because i'll break it Nothing remains the same forever Nothing remains the same forever Well, Lemaitre's eyes shined when general relativity was discovered and then there was light he said to himself "there once was a day without a yesterday" and he saw it as validation for his beliefs None of us are sooo sure Well, my greatuncle scrobbled some gibberish in the back of a matchbox without really knowing what it was He pretended it was arabic then presented it to a muslim friend and the friend said the letters read: "God is a mist of colors" Well, none of us know what the fuck was that I don't know if the universe cares i've got reasons to believe it does i've got reasons to believe it doesn't but i'm just the makeshift tourist I'm not here to decide any defintive truth I'm a sightseer of mankind's timeline A poor wayfaring stranger travelling through this world below Only thing i know is Nothing remains the same forever and if it doesn't then the end don't last forever itself The end is just a euphemism for a new beginning Nothing remains the same forever

Sometimes i think that i'm alone when i'm really not and sometimes i'm actually alone I don't know which is which anymore but i got the ghosts of all the people i've ever loved on my back and they sing I'll never forget you and i love you beyond time and distance Everywhere is nowhere to be found and nowhere's where i'm at, baby Although i've got my footprints marked on my flesh i'm still looking for the catacombs of my past Trying to find where Bernal Volta died I mistook a compass for a watch and now i'm further away from the core but the ghosts keep on singing and i love them so so until i find the answer c'mon boys keep on singing I'll never forget you and i love you beyond time and space

In the dead of the night a sword shun so brightly He leaves a trail of black feathers wherever he goes He's the vampire samurai Wait long enough and he'll come around with a smile from ear to ear because he knows the time is nigh No trumpets and no fireworks he slides across the horizon like a discreet ship in times of war An agent of fate Nobody knows so the only thing we can do is guess

Hmmmmm I've been down this road before I dug the shape of those eyes in my face All for the sake of a simple memory That i left behind Hmmmmm This wandering life of mine is only mine and no one else's I've shed my skin so many times that i've lost the count Reincarnation highway is gonna take me back home Even if i don't know if there's such a thing as home Hmmmmm I don't know the map very well but i'm an expert at getting lost All for the sake of a reason to live Getting lost is life's essence Hmmmmm I came upon a tornado I said "Hi" and we shook hands He was glad... very glad to find someone that didn't hide from him Reincarnation highway is gonna take me back home Even if i don't know if there's such a thing as home

As i gaze upon the dawn Something rises from within I feel like i could punch the grim reaper I know that one day i must die but today that doesn't matter 80 years or so it'll be enough I got infinity in a jar and not even death can take it away from me Today's the day tomorrow, i don't know This feeling might be gone soon I gazed upon fate's eyes and i spat on it's face Fuck guilt i wish i don't feel sorry in the future I believe it's all cycles Nothing remains the same forever so when you die, more than a billion million years will pass and we'll meet here again saying the same words And if i'm wrong Today, i'm OK with that too I got business on planet earth Regardless of the indifference of the cold, cold space and i know the sky doesn't care about it but if it matters to me it matters and that's that Tell the cosmos i won't shut the fuck up I'm gonna hide in death a while just to come back someday You won't get rid of me that easy, boy Once brought into existence, i cannot cease to exist I'm the stone in your shoe I'm the killer of the truth I'm the rising sun that comes forth in the middle of midnight If tomorrow i'm a coward, then that won't be me

about

last installment of the rampage series and it's the more lowkey of the bunch, it's all acoustic. that's why the whole description is in lowercase. some of this tracks are just me and mah guitar or just me with no instruments outside of my hands and mah voice. sort of an spiritual experience for the creator, you'll see it in the lyrics
